Join the DiFluid Coffee Roast Color Analysis Contest - WIN an OmniFlux!

How much difference can small changes really make?

DiFluid invites you to participate in the challenge using the new Roast Color Analyzer in CoffeeOS.

Whether you’re roasting coffee yourself or analyzing coffees roasted by others, explore coffees roasted at the same apparent level, measure both whole bean and ground results, and share what you discover for a chance to win a DiFluid OmniFlux.

Choose one of the following approaches:

Option A: Change a Variable

Roast a coffee and measure your whole bean and ground samples in CoffeeOS.

Adjust one variable (for example, roast development, end temperature, drum speed…) and measure again to compare.

Option B: Compare Similar Coffees

Select two or three coffees that appear similar in roast level on the outside (no need to roast yourself).

Measure and compare the whole bean and ground color in CoffeeOS.

For either option:

  • Document your experiment with screenshots and photos, and write a brief explanation of your findings.

  • Upload your post to one of the following platforms:

    • Instagram: Tag u/digitizefluid

    • Reddit: Post in r/CoffeeOS

    • Discord: Post in the DiFluid server

    • YouTube: Include hashtag in video description or title.

  • You may host the content elsewhere (e.g., Medium), but you must link to it on one of these platforms.
